Passing Away: NICN Judges, Staff mourn the Death of Learned Silk, Adetola-Kazeem SAN

Hon. Justice Babatunde Adejumo OFR, President-National Industrial Court of Nigeria on Wednesday 10th January, 2018 led Judges, top principal officers and staff to commiserate with family of Late Chief Ganiyu Adetola-Kazeem SAN over the sudden death of the learned silk who died on Monday 8th January, 2018.

 

His Lordship expressed sadness over the death of the learned silk, saying he has lost a brother and confidant.

 

Hon. Justice Adejumo while signing the condolence register today at the deceased residence in Lagos posited that Nigeria in its entirety has lost a great legal celebrity and a nationalist per excellence. He prays God to grant the soul of the deceased an eternal rest.

 

"Our thoughts and prayers are with the entire Adetola-Kazeem’s family in this mourning period, we pray God to grant the entire family, Judiciary and Nigeria in general fortitude and blessing to bear the irreparable loss." Justice Adejumo said.

The late Chief Adetola-Kaseem, SAN would be remembered mostly for his exploits in Labour law, Medical law and Islamic jurisprudence. May Allah forgive his shortcomings, pardon his mistakes, accept his efforts and admit him into Paradise (Amin).”

The late Chief Ganiyu Adetola-Kazeem has been buried according to the Islamic rites in his home town Ijebu-Ode.
