Industrial Court aligns with CJN Directive on Court sittings

The Hon President, National Industrial Court of Nigeria, His Lordship, Hon. Justice Benedict Kanyip, PhD, FNIALS has directed full compliance in line with the Circular of the Chief Justice of Nigeria, Hon. Justice Dr. Tanko Muhammed CFR that all court sittings be suspended for 2 weeks at first instance except in matters that are urgent, essential or time bound according to our extant laws as part of the proactive measures put in place to combat COVID-19 pandemic. 


The Chief Registrar, Mr. O. W. Daudu made the remark and enjoined all Divisional Registrars to fully adhere with the directive. 


"The Hon President is concerned about the safety and wellbeing of all the staff of the Court and has therefore advised that we should observe all measures that guarantee our individual and collective safety." Mr. Olurotimi Daudu stated.
