It was an intuitive gathering from all walks of life as National Industrial Court of Nigeria, Akure division organized end of the year party/ award dinner on 8th December, 2017 to appreciate staff that have exhibited genuine dedication and sacrifice to their call of duties.
Among the notable personalities who graced the occasion were the presiding judges, Hon. Justice O.O Oyewumi, Hon. Justice Abiola Adewemimo; the Ag. Chief registrar, Olurotimi Daudu Esq, Head of Admin, Aremo Olanrewaju Lawrence, Head of Division, Tawakalit Lawal Esq and many other principal staff from Benin, Ado-Ekiti, Osun, Ilorin and Edo divisions.
During paper presentation, Hon. Justice Oyeniyi commended the president of the National Industrial Court of Nigeria, Hon. Justice B. A. Adejumo OFR for his uncompromising stance, relentless effort and commitment aimed at achieving better and efficient judicial system. His vision and dynamism in leadership styles have earned NICN respect globally as well as rekindled the hope of the masses for a workable judiciary.
Justice Adejumo OFR has consistently demonstrated exceptional humility, uncommon integrity and dogged patriotism while piloting the affairs of the court.
His lordship further appreciates the head of division Tawakalit Lawal for her exceptional leadership styles cum respect and humility. His lordship also extended hands of praise to all the staff and most especially those who distinguished themselves with utmost dedication and sacrifice that earned them tokenism of appreciation (award).
Quintessentially, Her counterpart, Justice Adewemimo also share same thought with Justice Oyeniyi, eulogized the president of the court for his outstanding vision to make this court works. The president has proved that it’s not a rocket science to have a workable court.
Among the awardees were Mr. Kilani AbdulFatai Adesoji, Best staff in interpersonal relationship with colleague and the public, most result oriented/commitment to work goes to Miss Foluke Philips while Miss Mosunmola Akindele bagged Most Honest staff of the year.
The Ag. Chief Registrar, Olurotimi Daudu also used the avenue to further enjoined all staff to be more dedicated to their duties and assured that the current leadership as a whole will continue to provide a better working environment and that the welfare of the staff for optimal performance will forever be prioritized.
