Buhari, Onnoghen, Bulkachuwa, Adejumo and others grace 2017 All Nigeria Judges' Conference

President Muhammad Buhari, GCFR; Hon. Justice Samuel Walter Onnoghen, GCON; Justices of the Supreme Court both Serving and retired; President of the Court of Appeal, Hon. Justice Zainab Bulkachuwa; Justices of Court of Appeal (serving and retired); Hon. Minister of Justice and Attorney General of the federation, Hon. Abubakar Malami, SAN; Hon. Justice Babatunde Adejumo, OFR, President, National Industrial Court of Nigeria; Judges of Sharia Court, Judges of Federal High Court, Judges of National Industrial Court and many other  judges were among notable personalities present at the 2017 ALL NIGERIA JUDGES' CONFERENCE AFRICAN held at National Judicial Institute, Abuja.

The conference is focused on the theme "Strengthening Judicial Integrity And The Rule of Law".

The Chief Justice of Nigeria, Hon. Justice Walter Samuel Onnoghen GCFR, In his goodwill message, underscores the competency of Nigeria Judges. He further advocates greater collaboration between Judiciary and Executive, most especially the office of the Minister of Justice and Attorney General of the federation, towards strengthening democracy.

Declaring the conference open, President Muhammadu Buhari appeal for timely and effective justice delivery. He further expressed readiness of the executive to partner with the judiciary. He also debunk insinuation that the recent arrest of judges was in any way an attempt to intimidate or harass judicial officers as being reported by the media.
