Gov. Akeredolu Commissions Industrial Court Car Park Facility

The Governor of Ondo State, His Excellency, Arakunrin Rotimi Akeredolu on Saturday 18th May 2019 commissioned the car park facilities conceived and built by the National Industrial Court of Nigeria at the Akure Judicial division to ease the problems associated with a parking lot as being experienced by the litigants and court users.

 

The events witnessed the presence of heavy-weight Law-Lords and doyen of judiciary from the Court of Appeal, Federal and States high courts, National Industrial Court and Magistrate Court; traditional rulers and the general public.

 

The President of the Industrial Court, Hon. Justice Babatunde Adejumo expressed appreciation to the Governor of Ondo state for approving the land and further explained that, they had tried several times to persuade the past administration of the state but all to no avail.

 

In his remark, Governor Akeredolu expressed that as a Lawyer coming to the court from Ibadan then, he understood the stress experienced by the litigants, lawyers, and counsel with the non-availability of such facility, that immediately the request was brought to his attention, he had to defied all the security report and approved it without any further delay.

 

The Presiding Judge, Akure Judicial division, His Lordship, Hon. Justice O. O. Oyewumi also expressed utmost joy to the Chief Executive Officer of the state for the gesture and also appreciated the Hon. President for providing leadership.

 

Justice Oyewumi also thanked all the Judges who graced the occasion and all other attendees.

 

The events also had in attendance, the speaker of the state, Rt. Hon. Bamidele Oloyelogun who led the state house of assembly members.

 

Others are His Lordship, Hon. Justice B. B. Kanyip, Hon. Justice A. A. Adewemimo, the able Chief Registrar, Mr. Olurotimi Daudu Esq, Head of Admin, Mr. Olanrewaju Aremo Esq and many principal officers and staff.
