His Lordship, Hon. Justice A. N. Ubaka hails from Ubulu-Uku in Aniocha South LGA of Delta State to the family of late John Okoh, father and Christiana Okoh, mother.
Justice Ubaka attended St. Charles Primary School, Ubuku-Uku from 1986 to 1970 and St. James Primary School, Agbor, Delta State from 1971 to 1972 for FSLC; Baptist Girls High School, Agbor from 1972 to 1976 and St Louis College School, Mokola, Ibadan, Oyo State between 1976 and 1977 for WASC. She was admitted into the University of Ife, now Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife in 1979 and graduated in 1984 with LLB and was called to the bar in 1985.
Justice Ubaka performed her NYSC primary assignment with Nonyem Ibeneme and Co, Lagos State in 1985/86 service year. She started her career as a Senior Counsel with Elokwu Etuka & Co law firm, Western House, Broad Street, Lagos where she practiced between 1988 and 1993. In 1995 she was Assistant Manager, Legal/Claims and Company Secretary at Prudential Insurance Company.
Furthermore, In the year 1998 to the year 2000, she was Manager Admin/Legal/Accounts at Terra Energy Services, Lagos.
Quintessentially, she established the law firm of A. N. Ubaka & Co. Dolphin Estate, Ikoyi, Lagos in the year 2000 where she practiced till her judicial appointment in the year 2013.
My Lord has attended various Courses and Seminars on Law, Management and Labour Matters and happily married with children.
