The President of the National Industrial Court of Nigeria, His Lordship, Hon. Justice Babatunde Adejumo OFR has contributed his voice to congratulate industrial court staff on the celebration of this year Workers day.
His Lordship maintained that the collective effort of the staff cannot be quantified and wherever the court success is mentioned, their name will be on the lips of many who are witnesses to the role they play in the progress of the court.
“On behalf of my humble self and my Judges, I want to use this opportunity to thank you all for your massive sacrifice towards the growth of the court and the advancement of Labour Jurisprudence in general.”

His Lordship said the uniqueness of the 2019 workers celebration coincided with the centenary celebration of the International Labour Organisation (ILO), which Nigeria was a signatory to and National Industrial Court is the only court in Nigeria that has the power to apply international best practices and conventions that have been ratified by ILO.
His Lordsip, therefore, commended the resilience of the staff workforce and their numerous contributions to the judiciary and economy growth of our dear nation.
Finally, Justice Adejumo expressed that the welfare of the staff will continue to be of utmost priority and wished the entire staff happy celebration.
