Idris Kutigi’s Remains Arrive Abuja, Received by CJN Onnoghen, Others

Body of the Late Jurist, foremost Nationalist, and Nigeria’s former Chief Justice, Hon. Justice Idris kutigi has arrived Abuja from London. The body arrived Nnamdi Azikwe International Airport, Abuja at around 5.00 a.m this morning.

 

The Chief justice of Nigeria, Hon. Justice Walter Samuel Onnoghen GCON, ex-CJN Hon. Justice Mahmmod Muhammed, the representative of the National Industrial Court President, Hon. Justice B. A. Adejumo OFR; FJSC Secretary, Gambo Saleh Esq.  and Many others judicial personalities received the body of the late jurist.

 

The late jurist will be buried today in accordance with Islamic rites at Gudu Cemetery, immediately after Janazah prayers by 2.00 pm at the National Mosque Abuja.

 

Fidau prayers will take place on Thursday at 10am at the residence of the late jurist in Asokoro Abuja.

 

The Fidau prayers will also take place simultaneously at the Etsu Nupe's Palace in Bida and in Kutigi, Niger State.

 

May Almighty Allah grant the Late Jurist highest paradise and overlook all his shortcomings. Amin
