President of the National Industrial Court of Nigeria, Hon. Justice B. A. Adejumo, OFR has expressed grief over the sudden death of ex-Chief Justice of Nigeria (CJN), Justice Idris Kutigi, who died on Sunday 21st October 2018.
Justice Adejumo expressed that the news of the death of the quintessential jurist came to him as a rude shock.
Justice Adejumo further stated that Late Justice Idris kutigi will indeed be missed for his versatility and invaluable contributions to the development of the judiciary in Nigeria, Africa and the globe as a whole.
While commiserating with the Chief Justice of Nigeria, Hon. Justice Walter Samuel Onnoghen, Judiciary; the people and government of Niger State, Justice Adejumo articulated that History will be kind for his noble, indelible contributions and sacrifice to the growth Judiciary and Promotion of Rule of Law in Nigeria.
“While praying for the repose of the soul of the deceased, I pray that God will grant the entire Judiciary, family, state; and Nigeria, in general, the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss. “ Justice Adejumo stated.
