The President, National Industrial Court of Nigeria, Hon. Justice Babatunde Adejumo OFR, today, Monday 24th September 2018 joined topmost and eminent Law Lords among whom are Active and retired Justices of Supreme Court of Nigeria, Justices Court of Appeal (Active and Retired), Chief Judge of the FCT; Hon. Justice I. U. Bello, President of the Nigerian Bar Association, Paul Usoro SAN and many others at the special session of the Supreme Court of Nigeria to mark the commemoration of the 2018/2019 Legal Year and swearing in of the newly conferred Senior Advocates of Nigeria.
Others include, The Executive Governor of Ondo State, Arakunrin Akeredolu, INEC Chairman, Mahmod Yakubu, traditional rulers and many others were also present.
The Chief Justice of Nigeria, His Lordship, Hon. Justice W.S. Onnoghen GCON, in his remark commended all his learned brother Justices for their courage, resilience and expertise in the handling of cases.
“We have worked together as a team to pilot the affairs of the apex Court of the land. I am optimistic that we shall demonstrate more commitment and hard work in the course of this New Legal Year.” Onnoghen Stated.
