Sad: Hon. Justice Babatunde Adejumo OFR mourns the Death of Justice Andrew Obaseki (Rtd)

Hon. Justice Babatunde Adejumo, President-National Industrial Court of Nigeria has expressed colossal sadness over the death of retired Justice Andrew Obaseki, the first Supreme Court justice to be produced by the state.

Justice Obaseki died on July 13, 2017 at the age of 93.

Hon. Justice Adejumo while signing the condolence register today at the deceased residence in Benin posited that Nigeria in its entirety has lost a great jurist and a nationalist per excellence. He pray God to grant the soul of the deceased an eternal rest.

His Lordship described the late jurist as an exemplary Nigerian per excellence.

"Our thoughts and prayers are with the entire Obaseki family in this mourning period, we pray God to grant the entire family and Nigeria in general fortitude and blessing to bear the irreparable loss." Justice Adejumo said.

 

Verily, a distinguished jurist has gone to rest.
