The court has exclusive jurisdiction in civil causes and matters relating to or connected with any labour, employment, trade unions, industrial relations and matters arising from workplace, the conditions of service, including health, safety, welfare of labour, employee, worker and matter incidental thereto or connected therewith.



Justice Kola-Olalere’s Son, Oluwakorede weds in Style in Ilorin

A child’s wedding day is one of the biggest events for parents. There is no greater joy to parents than to see their child grow up and step into the next stage of life. 

Saturday, 28 January 2023 would forever be a memorable and happy day, to say the least, as the Judges of the Court of Appeal, National Industrial Court, Kwara State High Court; judicial staff, families; friends, and well-wishers gathered to celebrate the holy matrimony of the Administrative Judge, National Industrial Court Portharcourt Judicial Division, Hon. Justice Faustina Iyabode Kola-Olalere's Son, Oluwakorede and her soul-mate Oluwasemire Opabola.

The holy solemnization was held at Emmanuel Baptist Church, Sabo-Oke, Ilorin, and the reception followed immediately at Arca Santa Arena, Along Ajasi-Ipo Road, Ilorin, Kwara State.

The event was well attended by Judges, captains of industries, and many personalities from all walks of life.

Among the eminent jurists who joyfully graced the occasion included the Hon. President of the National Industrial Court, Hon. Justice Benedict Kanyip, OFR ably represented by Hon. Justice M. N. Esowe.

Others present are Hon. Justice Olufunke Anuwe, Hon. Justice Rakiya Haastrup, Hon. Justice Oyebiola Oyewumi, Hon. Justice Opeloye Ogunbowale and Hon. Justice Kiyersohot Damulak.

Other dignitaries at the colourful event were Hon. Justice Kenneth Amadi, JCA, Hon. Justice F Ojo and Hon. Justice Theresa Igoche of Benue State High Court to name a few.
