The Honourable President of the National Industrial Court of Nigeria, His Lordship, Hon. Justice Benedict Kanyip, Ph.D., FNIALS on Monday 29th November 2021 in his determination to expand the frontier of labour justice led the management staff of the court to Bauchi State to inspect the progress of work in preparation for the foundation-breaking ceremony of the court permanent site, tipped for January 2022 to be performed by the Chief Justice of Federation, Hon. Justice Tanko Muhammed.

The proposed site is situated off Murtala Muhammed way, behind games village, Bauchi, Bauchi State, North-East Nigeria.
While on an inspection tour, Justice Kanyip expressed that the edifice when completed will provide succor and a better working environment for the actualization of an effective and efficient justice delivery system in the state, the region, and the nation at large.

His lordship and entourage were received by the presiding Judge of Bauchi State, Hon. Justice Mustapha Tijjani and also paid a courtesy visit to the Bauchi State Chief Judge, Hon. Justice Rabi Talatu Umar at the state high court complex.
Among the Hon. President's entourage was the Chief Registrar, Mr. Olurotimi Daudu, Director of Finance and Accounts, Bello Abdul-Rafiu; the Deputy Chief Registrar, Mr. Peter Udomiaye and Mr. Dogara Aluwong among others.

The Hon. President also had an interactive session with the staff and members of the Nigerian Bar Association, Bauchi Branch.
