In Makurdi, Industrial Court President Justice Kanyip hammers on discipline

The Hon. President of the National Industrial Court, His Lordship, Hon. Justice Benedict Kanyip, Ph.D., FNIALS has charged the staff of the court to be dutiful and be bound by the code of conduct in discharging their duties.


Justice Kanyip stated this on Friday 29th October 2021 during the interaction with the staff of Makurdi judicial division of the court, Benue State.


Justice Kanyip said the court as the bastion of labour justice will continue to serve as a vehicle of hope for justice seekers and the court will not deter in its constitutional mandate to promote efficient and timely justice delivery for industrial harmony.


While assuring the staff of their welfare, Hon. President re-echoed that the court would not tolerate any form of indiscipline, implored the staff to justify the trust and confidence imposed on them.


Hon. President was well received by the Administrative Judge of Makurdi, Hon. Justice Isaac Essien, the divisional registrar, Lydia Jo-Madugu Esq, and many others.
