Honourable Justice Peter Odo Lifu

Justice Lifu was born at Okpoma, Cross River State to the family of late Agu Lifu, father and Oludo Lifu, mother both from Yala LGA, Cross River State. He is married with children.

He attended Christ the King Primary School, Okpoma from 1972 to 1978 for FSLC; Mary Knoll College Yala Ogoja from 1979 to 1984 for WASC and University of Jos from 1985 to 1989 where he obtained LL.B. He was called to the Bar in 1990. He also attended the University of Ibadan from 1994 to 2000 for his M.Sc. in Political Science and LL.M.

Justice Lifu performed his NYSC primary assignment with the Oyo State Command, Ibadan in the 1990/91 service year. He began his working career as a Junior Counsel with Chief Matthew Adepoju and Co. law firm at Agodi Gate, Ibadan in 1991. In 1992, he established his Law firm, Peter Lifu and Co. located at Oyo Road, Ibadan. He was a Lecturer at the Department of Public and International Law, University of Ibadan, before his judicial appointment.
